Abstrak
The problem in this study is the low interest in learning of three grade students at SD 091484 Jorlang Hataran , Hataran district which was held on February 18 to march 3, 2020 . The formulation of the problem in this study is how the description of Student Interest in Class III of the Elementary School Jorlang Hataran , Hataran district and whether there is a significant influence on the application of Ice breaking on student learning interest. The purpose of this study was to describe the interest in learning for three grade students at SDN Jorlang Hataran , Hataran district, Regency, then to find out the picture of students' learning interest after applying ice breaking to three grade students at Jorlang Hataran Public Elementary School, and to determine the effect of ice breaking towards student learning interest. The research approach is a quantitative approach. The methodology in this research is descriptive qualitative. with data collection using observation, interviews and documentation . There are two research variables namely the independent variable (ice breaking) and the dependent variable (learning interest). The methodology in this research is descriptive qualitative with data collection using observation, interviews, and documentation. from research resultsThere are several benefits of doing ice breaking activities, including: is to eliminate boredom, boredom, anxiety, and fatigue, because it can temporarily get out of the lesson routine by doing free movement and cheerful activities, Based on some of these benefits, it is clear that ice violating can be an alternative to be used in learning so that learning is not monotonous and not boring for student.
