Abstrak

The The purposes of this study were to improve (1) the Quality of the Indonesian Language Learning Process for Class IV Students of SD N 173456 Hutaginjang for the 2021/2022 Academic Year through the Problem Solving method; and (2) the quality of Indonesian language learning outcomes for Class IV Grade Students at SD N 173456 Hutaginjang for the 2021/2022 Academic Year through the Problem Solving method. This research is in the form of Classroom Action Research (CAR). The research object was Indonesian Language Learning, while the research subject was Grade IV students at SD N 173456 Hutaginjang for the 2021/2022 academic year, a total of 24 students. Sources of data used are documents, informants, and places of events. This research was conducted in two cycles. Based on the results of the research, it can be concluded that: (1) The Problem Solving Method can improve the quality of the Indonesian language learning process for Class IV Grade Students at SD N 173456 Hutaginjang in the 2021/2022 Academic Year. This is shown from the percentage of students' activeness and seriousness in learning Indonesian which has increased in each cycle. There was an increase of 25% in the mastery of learning Indonesian from 70% in cycle I to 95% in cycle II. This shows that the Problem Solving learning method can improve Indonesian learning outcomes. (2) the Problem Solving method can improve the quality of Indonesian language learning outcomes for Class IV Grade Students of SD N 173456 Hutaginjang for the 2021/2022 Academic Year.
