PRINSIP KEBIJAKAN PENDIDIKAN DI MASA PANDEMI COVID-19 NAGORI SIANTAR ESTATE

Abstrak

The education policy during the Covid-19 pandemic that has been set by the minister of education and culture Nadiem Makariem in the webinar 2 September 2020 has two principles, namely: (1) The health and safety of students, educators, education staff, families, communities is a top priority in establish learning policies; (2) The growth and development of students and psychosocial conditions are also a consideration in the fulfillment of educational services during the Covid-19 pandemic. The policy regulations that have been set have become pros and cons for the community. There are still many people who do not agree with the existence of online education, this is because parents will be burdened and play a role as teachers for their children. One of the assumptions and understandings like this actually happened in one of the categories such as Nagori Siantar Estate. Nagori Siantar Estate is one of the nagori (kelurahan) located in Pematangsiantar City, North Sumatra Province which still lacks understanding of the principles of education policy carried out by the government at this time. There are still many people in Nagori Siantar Estate blaming the government for not opening schools during the Covid-19 pandemic. Here the Devotion team from the University of HKBP Nommensen Pematangsiantar aims to provide knowledge to the public so as not to blame the policies that have been carried out by the government and continue to carry out and implement health protocol regulations so that the spread of COVID19 does not spread, especially in these nagori. The method used by the service team is in the form of socializing to the community about the principles of education policy during the covid-19 pandemic. The implementation of socialization is carried out face-to-face in accordance with health protocol regulations. This meeting was very well received by the people of Nagori Siantar Estate.
